MEET KEIL
Keil Roark was raised in a middle-class family shaped by hard work, union jobs, and public service. He started on the Chrysler assembly line at 19, put himself through college, served in the Navy Reserves, and built a career as an engineer and educator. Today, Keil lives in Floyd County with his wife and four children—and he’s running to make sure working families have a real voice in Washington.

WHY I'M RUNNING
I’ve served my country. Now it’s time to serve my community. In short, it’s about affordability, affordability, affordability! I’m running because Southern Indiana deserves leadership that understands work, service, and the challenges families face every day. Our current leadership is out of touch with ordinary Hoosiers from anything from grocery and housing prices to continued support of tax cuts or subsidies for the millionaires and billionaires. From rising prices to the future of our schools and the strength of our local economy, too many people feel like the system isn’t working for them. I believe government should be practical, responsible, and focused on helping people build stable, secure lives.
In Congress, I will focus on lowering grocery, housing, rental prices, while putting forth healthcare cost reduction measures, wage growth, inflation reduction measures, strengthening both public education and skills development training and education, and making sure our communities are prepared for the future—while keeping costs down for working families. I am also running to ensure healthcare access, support care services, and lower energy and transportation costs.
Further, I am a proponent of government accountability, which includes the following measures: Term Limits, Ban Congressional Stock Trading, Transparency, Anti-Corruption, Ethics, Lobbyists, Reform, and limit foreign entanglements. Lastly, I believe in strict border security and immigration enforcement, which allows for improved national security apparatus as well as mandated eVERIFY usage for all US employers.
